The STEAM Cluster is proud of its recent accomplishments that reflect our commitment to student success, community engagement, and innovation. This past year, we have been engaged with STEM middle school outreach and co-sponsored Tinker Academy MINI in our new Innovation Center / Maker Space, all with the intent to inspire the next generation of scientists and engineers. In Summer 2025, we piloted a Summer Bridge program with departments across campus to help build both skills and confidence before the fall semester begins for students taking their first college math class. Additionally, the new SRJC Campus Biodiversity Initiative has come to life, bringing together students and faculty from multiple disciplines and programs to create awareness and course-based resource opportunities about the species diversity found at SRJC.
